Romanian tourists crowd in the resorts in Bulgaria, but as happens in such cases there are misunderstandings between them. Atlfel, the greatest critics of the Romanians are themselves.
The end of the summer season is approaching in Bulgaria, but tens of thousands of Romanians continue to storm the resorts on the neighbors’ coast. Not infrequently, they get to stand up, in the sense in which misunderstandings and harsh criticism appear.
A post on a Facebook group dedicated to Romanians who choose Bulgaria caused a true controversy between the members of the group. The author of the post has published some suggestive photos, accompanied by only a few suggestive words: “Last night, in the Golden Sands. The resort is full of Romanians”, she wrote.
Romanians, the most critical with the Romanians
The reactions did not delay, and one of them gave birth to a whole discussion. “Unfortunately”, It was the short comment that attracted the attention of the other members of the Facebook group. “Can you tell me why” unfortunately “?”someone asked.
“It refers to the fact that we are everywhere, but instead, if someone is down, we laugh at him/her”, It was a staff. “Unfortunately the money goes here and do not stay in the country to us”, It was another interpretation.
But none of the two attempts were correct. The author of the comment returned with explanations: “I say unfortunately because I was in the first week of August in the sands and the behavior of Romanians disgusted me. Being an all inclusive hotel, and being plenty of trays permanently full, they crammed at the table, quarreled with places and put on their plate. And it remained a lot on the plate. And in the morning at 6:00 all the sunbeds in the first two rows were full. The Romanians went and tied their towels to take place in front. Later when families with young children came, they could not or were not in front of them to supervise their children because of them. In the future I will try to go somewhere further. Where are the least Romanian as possible because our behavior leaves to be desired“He explained.
“I also noticed that the parking lots were full of Romanianscki cars ”someone commented. “Bravo, to go. Than in the cigarette this from us better in another country“There was another opinion.
“Yes, it is. It seems that the Romanians move to Bulgari! Hotel Berlin Golden Beach has exceeded our expectations. Good food, cleaning, animators, beach and pool with sufficient loungers! They are a good way to go, the plates too full, and we are in the night. We spend the money outside, not in the country!! ”, Another intervened.
“I am forced to be Romanian”
However, there were completely different points of view. Other Internet users criticized the hostility of Romanians towards their nationals. “I don’t understand why you complain. Are you Chinese?”someone replied to the author of the comment from which the whole discussion started.
An even harder replica came from another Internet. “With these generalizations we get to go and hate us. There is no more nation. Do you think the Germans, the French and the British do not have their bad nations? This does not mean that they hate us. It shows the superiority.”He pointed out.
It’s good at the Bulgarians and not too
Other Romanians referred to the fact that, in their opinion, the Bulgarians are not above all the Romanians and complained about the conditions in Bulgaria and the behavior of those there.
“I went last year in Bulgaria at All Inclusive 4 stars and I was in Romania at the 4 -star hotel in Eforie Nord. In Bulgaria I was disappointed and you cannot compare the 4 -star Bulgarian hotel with the hotel in Romania. Romania is well over Bulgaria … at cleaning food, beach”, wrote a tourist.
“Too bad! This year I was in Sunny Beach. The behavior of the Bulgarians leaves us to be desired. At 2 gas stations (small, villages) did not leave us in the toilets, because they had no water. And they as people. Other people, other conditions, other prices. someone commented.
Nearly one million Romanians visited Bulgaria in 2024
According to the National Institute of Statistics (INS), a three tourist who chooses Bulgaria would be Romanian. According to termne.ro, almost 900,000 Romanian tourists visited this country between January and July 2024. The data were made public by the Deputy Minister of Tourism in the neighboring country, Irena Georgieva. For the summer season 2025 there is no data yet.
