The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rogobete, qualifies the Conference in Brasov, in which theories without scientific foundation were promoted about vaccines and 5G, as an act of misinformation for patient safety and trust in the medical system.

“We had a long discussion with the Mrs. President of the Romanian College of Physicians to verify the situation at what happened there. Of course we did not analyze the conference in detail that was transmitted and video. I watched only certain passages. At first glance, most of the information that was transmitted have no scientific basis. Of course we will discuss a possible legislative change that will block such medical events, but which, I repeat, do not have a verified program and are not scientifically validated.
But more than that, it seems to me completely unacceptable for certain doctors to promote in the public space images and information that are not medically verified because from my point of view they are a direct attack on the safety of patients in the end and to decrease the confidence of people in the health system that we cannot boast that it is an increased one. Now, it is the CMR thing that will check with the experts they have at their disposal ”, said the Minister of Health.

Asked if the institution he runs will notify the Prosecutor’s Office for the doctors and organizers of the conference to be investigated, Rogobete said that this will happen when the CMR report is ready.
“Yes, because most of the information that has been presented and promoted in this conference have no connection with any scientific basis.
For example, it has been promoted that vaccination is related to the 5G activity of mobile phones and that through this 5G cumulation and vaccines we can handle human DNA. Please, a number of information that have no scientific substrate, which do harm, repeat, safety and health of patients. And I am publicly appealing to people to inform themselves only from sources that are medically verified.
For this reason, the CMR will analyze the activity of these doctors, analyze the entire conference, video conferencing and, following the report, together with them, we will advance it to the Prosecutor’s Office, precisely that what happened in Brasov is an important act of misinformation, ”said Alexandru Rogobete.
