CFR Călatori sent a message on Sunday to respond to articles, in which the company was accused of being responsible for several incidents and delays.

“The railway activity implies the existence of several participants with clearly established duties and responsibilities by railway laws, instructions and regulations. As for the article “Delay record at CFR Călaturi. A train traveled 80 km in 12 hours and 17 minutes ”the company emphasizes that the wagon that caused the delays belonged to CFR SA: “The train R 2703 is operated by CFR Călaturi, but the wagon in question (…) is a wagon belonging to CFR SA (a laboratory wagon to measure the path), and the decision to continue the traffic and withdrawal of the wagon only at the Pui station was of CFR SA.”
“In conclusion, in both cases the answers and research must be carried out at CFR SA and not to CFR Călaturi, but we are willing to make available to the research commissions any information that can bring clarity in elucidating the cases.”the statement states.
The details come after the publication club, the railway operator transmitted that the private operator Regio Călatori has decided to cancel several trains as a result of the works carried out in Timișoara county.
In a separate article, the publication reported that a delay record at CFR Călaturi was registered on Friday, when a train operator train traveled 80 km in 12 hours and 17 minutes.
