Asked if the third pack of tax measures will include other categories that have special pensions, Prime Minister Bolojan claims that “We are in the situation where we need many people in the real labor market.”
“And for this, we like or do not like it, we have to increase the retirement age”,
said the head of the Government, on TVR1.
“We need more people in the real work market. We like or do not like to increase the retirement age so that within 50-65 years the population is caught in the real economy is in a higher weight than today because it has no one to replace it. Our generations will retire,” said Ilie Bolojan.
According to the prime minister, the measure also concerns the category of special pensions.
“If we do not increase the retirement age, in general, in all categories, including special pensions, we will reach a situation of non-usenability of the pension system over five years, over 10 years. And we must say this … We cannot postpone the future of the generations that come after us, not taking some measures to place things in a normal structure.” warned Ilie Bolojan
