Apple has launched the new iPhone 17 range, marking a significant redesign through the ultra-subtle iPhone Air model. Along with the new phones, the company also presented the AirPods Pro 3 headphones with live translation, and an Apple Watch with advanced health monitoring functions.

Ultra-sub-Substance iPhone Air smartphone
On September 9, Apple officially presented the new models in the iPhone 17 range, during the event organized at its headquarters in Cupertino, California. The central piece of presentation was iPhone Air, a revolutionary smartphone through its ultra-subtle design, the first major recessign of the 2017 iPhone.
The new iPhone Air impresses with a thickness of only 5.6 mm and an elegant “spatial quality” titanium. It is available in four colors, white, black, gold and light blue, and has a price of $ 999, positioning among the other models in the new range.
iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro
Apple has also launched the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro models, both bringing significant improvements to previous generations.
The iPhone 17 model has a starting price of $ 799 for the 256 GB of storage, ie the same price as the previous version, but with double storage space.
In contrast, the iPhone 17 Pro starts at $ 1,099 for the same capacity, but no longer includes a basic version below $ 999, as was the case of iPhone 16 Pro.
New design, improved front camera and CIP A19 PRO
The new models are noted for rooms with resolutions four times higher than the previous generation. Thus, the front camera has a sensor almost twice as high as the iPhone 16, thus responding to the increasing quality demand for selfies, in the context of Apple, users have made 500 billion selfies in the last year, notes the New York Post.
The iPhone 17 Pro comes with a new design, an advanced zoom room, a larger battery and is available in colors such as silver, dark blue and orange. At the same time, it integrates the A19 Pro chip, with performance comparable to a MacBook Pro.
Apple maintains prices, despite imposed tariffs
In the context of the commercial tariffs imposed during the Trump administration, which had a negative impact of the company’s profitability, Apple chose not to increase the prices. This cost absorption effort, estimated at over $ 1 billion in this quarter, aims to maintain competitiveness on the market, in front of rivals such as Samsung, Google and China producers.
AirPods Pro 3: live translation and medical functions
Apple has also launched the new generation of wireless headphones – Airpods Pro 3 – with a price of $ 249. They bring an absolute premiere: the function of live translation, along with a series of audio improvements, including a more efficient cancellation of the background noise and a heart rate sensor.
The autonomy was also extended, the new headphone model offering eight hours of use with a single charge, compared to six hours before.
Apple Watch Series 11
In the area of gadgets, Apple introduced the new Apple Watch Series 11, which comes with a blood pressure monitor, a function that will receive the FDA approval soon.
The clock has a thinner design, glass resistant glass and a 24 -hour autonomy, its price starting from $ 399.
In addition to the standard model, Apple has also launched two alternative versions: Apple Watch SE 3, $ 249, and Apple Watch Ultra 3, premium version, available at $ 799.
The latter is the most advanced model so far, with the largest Apple Watch screen, 42 -hour autonomy and satellite connectivity for emergency calls.
