Ilie Bolojan and Sorin Grindeanu will be face to face on Wednesday, trying to solve the problems that generated the scandals inside the Government. The meeting is decisive for, the prime minister announcing that he is ready to give up the head of the executive if the administration reform is not adopted in the form proposed by him.

The two leaders will have three important points of discussion, according to Antena 3 CNN.

The reform of the local administration

The main point of the discussion will be related to the reform of the local administration, the prime minister still requesting the dismissal of 13,000 employees, while the PSD, the USR and the UDMR say that, rather, the expenses should be reduced and that there would be no mass dismissals.

Eliminating commercial addition to basic products

Another point would be the one regarding the elimination of the ceiling of the commercial addition to the basic Romanian products.

The PSD claims that the measure should be continued or, at least, it would need an analysis to show if inflation does not increase too much by stopping this measure. The prime minister said that, from October 1, this ceiling should be stopped.

The elections for the Capital City Hall

The third point of discussions is the one regarding the elections in the Capital. The PSD threatened that if PNL and USR are coalisated against social democrats and insists with elections by the end of the year, then the PSD will leave the coalition.

Ilie Bolojan to decline, on Tuesday evening, at Antena 3 CNN, that he does not use resignation as a form of pressure:

“I have never done this. But when you hold a public office and you know what to do, what is the plan you have to end, it is a proof of responsibility to insist on doing the right thing.”.

Regarding the solidity of the coalition, Ilie Bolojan said that, “If a prime minister, no matter who he is, has no authority and has no support he cannot exercise his mandate ”.
