Dennis Man is going through the best moment since his transfer to Holland. The Romanian scored a spectacular double and was named “Man of the Match” in PSV’s emphatic 6-2 victory over Napoli.
His remarkable evolution has not gone unnoticed. UEFA included Man among four players nominated for the Champions League Player of the Week title, alongside Fermin Lopez (Barcelona), Felix Nmecha (Borussia Dortmund) and Gorka Guruzeta (Athletic Bilbao).
For Man, the nomination is confirmation of his return to excellent form after a difficult start at PSV.

Dennis Man declared himself extremely satisfied after the double success in front of the champion of Italy, the country where he performed last season for Parma.
“Unbelievable, I think it’s the most beautiful evening of my life. We deserved the win and we are happy. I know them, they are a very good team. I told the boys before the game that it was going to be a tough game, but we scored two quick goals. Then I played better and better.
It’s better that way. It’s better when we play against big teams. I think we have more space to play our game. We have some very good quality players. And I know I can help this team immensely. I’m getting better and better”, said Dennis Man, after the match.
