Among those who could not be present at the ceremony is the popular music performer Elena Merișoreanu who, due to some personal problems, had to leave the city.

However, the artist promised that she would go to the cemetery to pay her last respects to Maestro Moculescu. Even though she was absent, she sent a harsh message to those who were helped by Horia Moculescu, but did not attend the funeral.

“We kept seeing each other at filming, events, but we weren’t very close. However, he was of unusual delicacy, he was respectful, a special person, I saw that he was very involved in Nidia’s upbringing and education. He left behind an invaluable legacy through all the songs he created. He didn’t lead an easy life, but he left a treasure behind. I’m sorry I didn’t make it to the funeral, I’m out of town, but for sure I’m going to light a candle at the cemetery when I get back. I hope God gives her daughter strength.”said Elena Merișoreanu for Click!.ro.

The artist is of the opinion that more people should have been present at the funeral ceremony and that she is surprised that some people did not show up.

“You should know that not so many soloists attended the funeral as I expected… I saw on the news… It’s a pity, he did a lot of good to many soloists, he lifted many up, but who knows… Everyone has their own problems… I saw that Corina Chiriac participated, she is expensive and pretty, Angela Similea was also… May God forgive him, may he rest in peace. He will always live on through his songs with those who love him”Elena Merișoreanu also said.

The coffin with the lifeless body of master Horia Moculescu was deposited since Saturday, at noon, in the chapel of the Bellu Orthodox Cemetery, where dozens of people came to pay their last respects. The composer will sleep his eternal sleep in a vault of the Union of Composers and Musicologists, located on one of the alleys where great names of Romanian music rest – Gherase Dendrino, Sile Dinicu, Mircea Tiberian or Paul Constantinescu.
