Monday, November 17, is the last day on which candidacies for the position of general mayor of the Capital can be submitted to the Municipal Electoral Office, they will remain final on November 23.

Circumscription Electoral Office no. 42 has validated, until now, six candidacies for the position of general mayor, according to Agerpres.
These are the following candidates:
Cătălin Drula (USR candidate)
Ciprian Ciucu (PNL candidate)
Anca Alexandrescu (candidate Electoral Alliance “Justice for Bucharest”)
George Valentin Burcea (candidate Young People’s Party)
Daniel Băluţă (PSD candidate)
Virgil Alexandru Zidaru (independent candidate)
Liviu Gheorghe Floarea (Maniu-Mihalache National Peasant Party), Eugen Teodorovici (independent) and Dan Cristian Popescu (independent) submitted their candidacies to the Municipal Electoral Office.
BEM decisions regarding candidacies can be contested by citizens, political parties, political alliances and electoral alliances, within no more than 24 hours from the date of posting the candidacy.
Nominations remain final on November 23
The candidacies for the position of general mayor of the Capital remain final on November 23.
The election campaign starts on November 22.
On December 7, partial local elections will be held to appoint the person who will replace Nicuşor Dan at the General City Hall.
