In the Elite League, the Romanian U-20 national football team drew tonight, score 1-1, with Portugal, the group leader. The match was played at the “Juventude Sport Clube” stadium in Evora and ended with a score of 1-1.

The Lusitanians started strongly and in the 15th minute they were already leading 1-0. Adrian Iencsi’s team (50 years old) equalized until the break through Darius Fălcușan (min. 25), the 19-year-old player of Craiova University and resisted the pressure. After the break there was no more scoring.
In the ranking, Portugal, the only undefeated one, is first, with 16 points gathered in 6 stages, followed by Germany, with 12 points.
Romania is ranked penultimate. He has two points, collected in four rounds, goal difference 4-14. Last placed is Italy, without a single point in three games.
So far, Romania has drawn and lost with the Czech Republic, 2-2 and 1-5, and lost to Germany, score 0-6.
The next games are scheduled for the end of March next year, with Poland (home) and Switzerland (away).
