Romania U-20, sensational result against Portugal. Iencsi’s tricolors stopped the series of defeats

In the Elite League, the Romanian U-20 national football team drew tonight, score 1-1, with Portugal, the group leader. The match was played at the “Juventude Sport Clube” stadium in Evora and ended with a score of 1-1.

The Lusitanians started strongly and in the 15th minute they were already leading 1-0. Adrian Iencsi’s team (50 years old) equalized until the break through Darius Fălcușan (min. 25), the 19-year-old player of Craiova University and resisted the pressure. After the break there was no more scoring.

So far, Romania has drawn and lost with the Czech Republic, 2-2 and 1-5, and lost to Germany, score 0-6.
