After the meeting with PSD representatives from the Bolojan Government on Wednesday, January 28, the president of the party, Sorin Grindeanu, declared that all the construction sites related to the medical and transport infrastructure must have financing “ensured so that the pace of work allows, in particular, the completion of the objectives included in the PNRR”.
“The economic recovery program must be adopted as quickly as possible, together with the administration reform, because the delays are measured in thousands of lost jobs and closed companies!
In addition to this program, today I discussed with the PSD team from the Government about the big investment projects in each field. They represent priorities in the 2026 budget”the president of the PSD, Sorin Grindeanu, sent.
Grindeanu shows that “all construction sites related to the medical and transport infrastructure must have secured financing so that the pace of work allows, in particular, the completion of the objectives included in the PNRR”.
“And the support programs for farmers, started a few years ago by the PSD ministers, must be continued! The official data of the INS show that they have already started to produce definite effects, namely a solid increase in production”, emphasizes Grindeanu.
The PSD president announces that the Ministers of Energy and Labor are preparing a program of measures to protect the population most exposed to social risks, pensioners with low incomes, children with disabilities and those from families with severe material problems.
“We perfectly understand the budgetary constraints, but it does not mean that we have to leave the needy without help, at a time when inflation remains high!
Supporting the economy and social protection are not mutually exclusive principles, but complement each other. It is time to act today, so that every family and every Romanian company has hope for tomorrow”mentions Sorin Grindeanu.
Also on Wednesday, the PSD conveyed that it will support in the Parliament the government package regarding the reduction of public administration expenses only if it is accompanied by measures to stimulate the national economy, proposed by the social democrats.
Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan said on Tuesday that, by the end of this week, a decision will be made on how the project on the reform of local public administration and the one related to the package of economic recovery measures will be promoted, because there is the possibility of engaging the responsibility in the Parliament or of their adoption by emergency ordinance.
