The debut of the series “Leyla” on Pro TV, in the slot previously occupied by “La Măruță”, brought audiences close to the replaced format, with moderate variations from one day to the next, according to data from the first two episodes broadcast on Monday and Tuesday.
Paginademedia.ro analyzed the audiences of the first two episodes, broadcast on Monday, February 9, and Tuesday, February 10, between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
“Layla” had a slight debut above the level of the show “La Maruta” on the first day, but dropped nationally on Tuesday. In the cities, however, the series grew from one day to the next. On both days, Pro TV’s output was topped by either “Word Game” (Kanal D), either by “Bride” (Antenna 1), depending on the analyzed audience.
Monday, February 9 – a bit more interest. “Leyla”, the second option at the national level
Nationwide, the first episode of “Leyla” was the second choice of viewers. The series gathered an average of approximately 580,000 Romanians, given that, on the days when Pro TV announced the cancellation of “La Măruță”, the show had audiences of up to half a million.
National Top – Monday, February 9:
- Channel D – 790,000
- Pro TV (“Leyla”) – 580,000
- Antenna 1 – 575,000
In cities, “Leyla” attracted almost 225,000 viewers, a level close to that of Cătălin Măruță’s show. With these figures, Pro TV ranked third, after Kanal D and Antena 1.

In the commercial audience (21–54, national ABCD), “Leyla” took second place, being overtaken by “Mireasa”.

Tuesday, February 10 – decrease in the country, increase in the cities
In its second episode, “Leyla” fell below 500,000 viewers nationally, but picked up in the cities.
At the level of the entire country, the Pro TV series registered an average of 495,000 Romanians, ranking third, after “The Game of Words” and “The Bride”.

In the cities, however, “Leyla” climbed to almost 240,000 viewers, taking second place, just behind Kanal D.

In the commercial audience, the Turkish series dropped to the third position, from the second place occupied on the first day.
