FCSB hoped to start a new era under the command of Mirel Rădoi, but it seems that much was said and little was done with the champion team. The red-blues had a bad debut in the play-out under the command of the new coach, drawing white with the last ranked, Metaloglobus.
FCSB clearly dominated the game and created several scoring opportunities, through Daniel Bîrligea (7), Florin Tănase (31), Juri Cisotti (41), David Miculescu (60), Octavian Popescu (69), but failed to score. Thus, Metaloglobus confuses the champion for the second time this season, after defeating her in the round of the regular season with 2-1.
Following tonight’s draw, FCSB remained in 2nd place in the ranking from the relegation group of the Romanian championship, with 24 points, being beaten by UTA Arad, who won this round with FC Hermannstadt, score 3-2. On the other hand, Florin Bratu’s team is in last place, with 7 points.

In the next stage of the Superliga play-out, Mirel Rădoi’s team will play at home against the leader UTA Arad, while Metaloglobus will receive a visit from Petrolul Ploiești.
