According to Leo Dias, a well-known Brazilian reporter with nearly two million followers on X, Neymar was involved late last week in a series of poker tournaments that kept him active for 24 hours.
The competition started on Friday, continued on Saturday, and on Sunday it lasted from 14:00 to 23:00.
The registration fee for the tournament was 5,000 euros, and in case of elimination there was the possibility of re-entry by paying another amount.
For Neymar, the procedure was applied four times during the day on Saturday. In the evening he lost everything, and the next day he went to the table only once.
Neymar, the best scorer in the history of Brazil – with 79 goals, was not summoned by the Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti, 66 years old, for the friendly matches with France and Croatia, the last before the World Championship in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
