The results of the National Assessment 2026 simulation for 8th grade students will be announced today, March 30, according to the official calendar established by the Ministry of Education.
The simulation took place between March 16–18 and included the written tests in Romanian Language, Mathematics and, where appropriate, Mother Tongue.
The results are not publicly displayed, and each student will receive their grade individually, through the school. In addition, grades can only be entered in the catalog at the request of the student or parent.
Where the results from the National Assessment 2026 simulation are announced
The results of the National Assessment 2026 simulation will not be published on name lists. Each student will find out his grade directly from the educational unit, based on the unique code assigned, in accordance with the rules on the protection of personal data.
This procedure is used to avoid public exposure of the results and to encourage the use of simulation as an internal assessment tool.
What happens to the grades?
The grades obtained during the simulation of the 2026 National Assessment are not automatically entered in the catalog.
However, they can be officially registered, but only at the written request of the student or the parent or legal guardian.
Papers are digitally corrected. More precisely, each paper being evaluated by two teachers. If there is a difference of more than one point between the grades awarded, it is automatically sent to two other assessors and the final grade is calculated based on the four assessments, after removing extreme values.
The results obtained in the simulation cannot be disputed. At the same time, each school analyzes the results and prepares a report that is sent to the school inspectorate, together with a plan of measures to improve student performance.
