Two traffic police officers from IPJ Brăila are under disciplinary investigation, after the appearance in the public space of some images in which they are filming themselves in the service vehicle, while humming the manes and making statements related to the activity in the field.
In the clip that has gone viral on social media, one of the agents hums to the hand: “Let the permits jump, let the permits come”.
The images were taken during working hours, the two appearing in uniform, inside the Romanian Police vehicle, provoking numerous critical reactions in the online environment.
“I don’t want to believe such a thing!? Shame on you! What kind of behavior is this? You’re still paying our money! Shame on you, shame on you… For your honor, if you have it, go and resign,” wrote a netizen.
Other commentators poked fun at the situation and questioned the professional ability of the police: “Messrs. Garcea, you should take a drug test. Do you represent the law? I don’t think so”another person relayed.
“I think you are under the influence of alcohol” was another reaction that appeared online.
Following the appearance of the video clip, the management of the Brăila County Police Inspectorate ordered the initiation of checks through the internal control structure, to establish whether the police officers violated the regulations regarding the conduct of the service and the use of special vehicles.
“Considering the images that appeared in the public space, on a social network, regarding the way two police officers performed their duties while they were in the service car, the Brăila County Police Inspectorate transmits the following: the leadership of the Brăila County Police Inspectorate ordered the carrying out of checks on the two policemen from the Brăila Municipal Police, through the specialized structure”, IPJ Brăila sent.
