After winning the Scudetto in Italy last night with Inter Milan, the French striker Marcus Thuram (28 years old) imitated – with the help of artificial intelligence – a famous photo taken after an NBA title won by Kobe Bryan with his team, Los Angeles Lakes, in Philadelphia, his hometown.
A historic photo was reproduced by Marcus Thuram in the San Siro dressing room after Inter Milan won their 21st title. The French forward took the same pose in the picture as Kobe Bryant (died in 2020, aged 41) on June 15, 2001, as the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Philadelphia 76ers to win their second straight title.
That image of Kobe standing alone in the shower with the trophy in hand captured the public’s attention. Looking at the two photos side by side, the one of the footballer was “arranged” with artificial intelligence. You can easily notice this by the shower accessories. But it remains a beautiful tribute to the basketball champion, who died in a helicopter crash with his daughter, Gianna, over six years ago.
