According to the Ministry of Education, the assessment is carried out by two examining teachers: the teacher who taught the subject in class and another teacher of the same specialty. In situations where this condition cannot be met, the examination is done by teachers from other educational units.

The results are not expressed by grades, but by establishing the level of competence, according to national and European standards.

Next comes the digital test and the written exams

After finishing the language tests, high school graduates will take the digital skills assessment between June 15 and 17.

The written tests will begin on June 29, with the Romanian Language and Literature exam, followed by the mandatory profile test on June 30 and the optional test of the specialization, scheduled for July 2. Students from national minorities will take the test in their mother tongue on July 3.

Over 130,000 candidates registered

According to official data, more than 130,000 high school graduates from the current promotion and previous batches are expected to appear for the exam, either for all samples or only for those not passed in previous sessions.

The initial results of the written tests will be posted on July 7, and appeals can be submitted on the same day and in the following two days. The final results will be published on July 13.
