PAOK Thessaloniki is one of the best performers in the Conference League, after beating Dinamo Zagreb 5-1 on the return leg, after 0-2 on the Croatians' field. The fates put in their way a formation of about the same caliber, so that access to the penultimate act of the competition is within reach for the formation trained by Răzvan Lucescu.

The Thessaloniki outfit fell to Brugge in the Conference League quarter-finals, but other fixtures headline this phase of the competition. The hottest match seems to be Aston Villa – Lille, in which two teams from the top 5 European championships will meet, while Olympiakos – Fenerbahce is the most attractive double leg at least from the perspective of the rivalry between the Turks and the Greeks.
