Petrolul Ploiesti won against FCU Craiova 1-0, in the play-out phase of the Super League

Petrolul Ploieşti defeated FCU 1948 Craiova with a score of 1-0 (0-0), on Monday evening, at home, in a match from the first stage of the play-out phase of the football Superleague, writes Agerpres.

The only goal of the game was scored by Jair (62), with a shot deflected into his own goal by Vlad Achim.

Petrol Ploieşti had two more notable opportunities, one through Paul Papp (27), who sent a header just wide, and Jair (30), who resumed with his shoulder, Sergiu Hanca's cross, and the ball hit the crossbar transverse.

The guests' best chance was signed by Vlad Achim (73), who shot from a distance, but the goalkeeper Lukas Zima rejected from under the crossbar.

Florin Stângă made his debut as an interim coach at Petrolul Ploiesti.

FCU Craiova has reached seven consecutive stages without a win (only one point obtained), the last two failures being with Nicolo Napoli on the bench.
