Furthermore, during the same press conference, Nemo suggested that “Eurovision needs fixing”highlighting the need for transparency and equality within the music competition.

The song The Code is about the journey I started with the realization that I am neither male nor female. I don't identify as male or female. I'm just Nemo.

I like to think of gender as a galaxy, imagining myself as a little star floating somewhere inside“, he said, according to Click.ro.

The singer Mihai Trăistariu declared for the source cited above that “Eurovision has changed”. He watched the music competition on YouTube.

“Eurovision was launched in the 1950s as a music creation contest. Then there were only juries, specialists, musicians, they were only looking for creation or composition. The text should be good, the melodic line, the voice should be good. So the song had to ring in a big way.

Over time, Eurovision has changed, just as showbiz has changed. Show biz itself has changed all over the world. And then, after about 20 years, the public was introduced to vote. Or, the public wants something else! Not necessarily music, because the audience doesn't know notes“, said Traistariu, for Click!

“By also introducing the public vote, automatically the artists stopped looking only to sing, so they came up with extravagant things, with fantastic shows, with strange costumes, with I don't know what choreographies.

All oddities and all things shocking have always attracted. What we saw now at Eurovision is exactly the show-biz of 2024. A crazy, shocking, extravagant, colorful show-biz.

I really liked the show itself, the show, the choreography, the graphics, I mean it was an explosion on stage, colors. Ireland, who came with werewolves on the stage, also took sixth place. So, the people voted for it. I don't know who else came on stage naked…

This guy who won was the favorite for two months in the bookies, he was number 1. People bet that his song would win, not knowing how he would come on stage, because the song was good. Then he came up with an extravagant thing to make sure he won. He also came with the shock element!“, the artist also specified.

Traistariu revealed to the cited source that his favorite was the Frenchman Silmane, who took 4th place in the final ranking.

I liked France and Israel the most. The latter was very contested because of the war and that really bothered me. I loved the song and the voice. They came out in 4th and 5th place. Ukraine came out in 3rd, <>, but being the situation with the war, it is clear that voting is also political.

Neither did Croatia, who came out 2nd, <>, but came with a good show. Many countries did not have big plays, but through the show and the odd appearance they got ahead. You have to get the eyes so that the world will vote for you. You do anything, in other words, to get votes. It's a begging for votes, that's Eurovision!“, the singer also said.
