Tourists who arrive on the coast this summer now have a new beach. It has eight hectares and is already one of the main attractions of the resort.

If last year it was only an area where the waves were hitting the cliff strongly, now, in Costinești, an 800 meter long beach was made and 100 meters wide. Also, another beach, located in the center of the resort, is 60%ready, according to the Observer News.
However, there are resorts where many works have been done.
So far from 77 new beaches, auctioned, less than half were rented. Most in Eforie, Mamaia and Agigea.
“Those who will visit us this year will be able to enjoy a much larger beach than last year. They will be able to enjoy a beautiful holiday in peace,” said Georgeta Kreici, terrace administrator.
Currently, the works have been stopped and the machines withdrawn so that the tourists would not be disturbed, and the job will resume in the fall. The cost of the entire work amounts to 350 million lei.
“At the last beach cell will be about 10 hectares. There are 5 dams built here, and two have the role of creating the cell for environmental works, while the other dams have the role of costly protection,” said Marius Stamat, head of site.
The summer season 2025 has already started on the coast. The Romanian waters Dobrogea-Litoral completed the delivery of the beach sectors to the 266 economic operators with rental contracts.
