According to Polymarket (one of the largest platforms on the market for analyzes and predictions in several fields), which correctly indicated Donald Turmp as a winner of the US elections, the independent candidate Călin Georgescu no longer has the first chance to become the leader of Romania, a position taken by another independent, Nicușor Dan.
Călin Georgescu, taken off the “horse of favorite”
The graph posted by the platform shows that, on February 19, Georgescu had 55% to become the president of Romania, now led by interim Ilie Bolojan. On March 2, the percentage had dropped to 23%. Favorite became Mayor Nicușor Dan, with 44%.
Georgescu’s tip was reached on February 25, with a 56% share, compared to only 21% for Nicușor Dan.
