“We still do not know this possible discount of 20% of what we will do. At the Galati City Hall there are about 640 jobs, but we actually have about 460 employees. said Pucheanu, in the show “Talk B1” from B1 TV.
The mayor stressed that, in the case of town halls that have reached the maximum number of positions, a reduction can be justified, especially where your own revenues cannot be covered. However, applying this rule to all local administrations would create “Inequities”.
“When you come with a template Otova so, thought for all the same, the inequities will appear, to express ourselves.” The mayor of Galați continued.
Pucheanu believes that the big problem is in the central apparatus:
“Local administrations have a law that provides that they can only have one employee in 1,000 inhabitants. There is no norms like this in ministries. If tomorrow a minister wants to hire 1,000 people, he does it. And if he finds the financial source and finds, glory to heaven, when it comes to this.”
Referring to government agencies, the mayor of Galați gave the example of one who works in his city and who “Give an opinion for the commissioning of the RMNs, CTs and x-ray appliances. For good?”.
Finally, Pucheanu said that he does not want to blame a particular party: “Do not understand me wrong, I was all wrong. I did not finger at USR, PSD, PNL, I have all been wrong!”
