Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan stressed that the next six months will be decisive for applying radical austerity measures, despite the dissatisfaction of the population and voltages in the ruling coalition.
The leader of the social-democratic senators criticized the prime minister’s communication. “To know that I think that the prime minister made an error when he declared in Bloomberg that Romania is on the verge of entering the payment. On your television I saw that Romania is in the first place in terms of economic growth in Europe. In the 2nd quarter, that is to say, at the end of this year, it is an economic growth. Last year, but all the states in Europe are in this situation. It clearly prejudes everything that means the economic environment in Romania ”, Daniel Zamfir told Digi24, quoted by Mediafax.
At the same time, the leader of the senators of the Social Democratic Party criticized the fact that the Prime Minister of Romania allows himself to make decisions, such as suspending the projects in the PNRR, without consulting the mayors, the most affected by this measure.
“An extremely hasty decision of the prime minister was to cut so Otovato what the projects mean in the PNRR. And there was a great upset among all the local elected officials. And here we can only talk about the PSD local elected officials, you saw the USR, you have seen them, The decisions are disastrous for the economy ”, the social-democratic leader also stated.
