Actor Bob Rădulescu, about eating at all-inclusives: “That's why empires fall, that's why Jesus Christ doesn't come a second time”

The beloved actor Bob Rădulescu criticizes the way food is wasted at all-inclusive hotel buffets. “We fill our plates with 10 kilos of food, sit down at the table, gobble up 5 kilos like prisoners and leave the remaining 5 kilos soaked and mocked on our plates,” he says.

Actor Bogdan Bob Rădulescu from Cluj talks on Facebook about how he eats for breakfast or at the all-inclusive buffet when staying at a hotel.

We humans have not yet reached the level of development where we can manage breakfast at hotels or all-inclusive buffets at resorts.

We are simply far from the moment when we are no longer ignorant and irrational animals, termites without empathy, who do not understand that we live in a community with other people who would also like to live, savages who in the century 21 we still put ourselves on our plates as if it were the last meal before the execution in the electric chair“, he wrote.

“This is why empires fall”

The biggest problem, says Bob, is that a lot of the food on the plate will be wasted.

“The problem is not that we eat like crazy until we have indigestion and SMURD takes the last 750 grams of unchewed solid food down our throats, which we stuffed on top of the other 5 kilograms of food taken from the hotel buffet at breakfast breakfast, the problem is that we fill our plates with 10 kilos of food, sit down at the table, eat like prisoners 5 kilos and leave the remaining 5 kilos soaked and mocked on the plates, while others have none at all or die of hunger...” said Bob.

The actor claims that this greed is one of the biggest flaws of people. Romanians also fall into the category of those who abuse all-inclusives.

That's why empires fall, that's why Jesus Christ doesn't come a second time, that's why aliens don't visit us. Because we are still at the stage of two-legged vertebrates who live our whole existence as supermarket trolleys, with 3 out of 4 wheels stuck or crooked making our way between the kitchen and the toilet creaking, to the rhythm of burps and ephemeral belching behind us. ..“the actor from Cluj also wrote.

Romanians are increasingly interested in all inclusive services

From year to year, the demand for all inclusive services increases in Romania.

In the 2023 summer season, a number of 38 units awaited tourists with all-inclusive services, accumulating a total of 18,500 accommodation places, while four more hotels switched to all-inclusive regime, respectively: Oltenia By Complex Steaua de Mare 4* in Neptun-Olimp, Vox Maris 4* in Costinesti, Hotel Edmond 3* and Hotel Cosmos 2* in Eforie Sud.

Compared to 2019, the year considered to be the best in the history of domestic tourism, when there were 29 all-inclusive hotels on the Romanian coast with a total of approximately 13,500 accommodation places, there was an increase of 5,000 accommodation spaces in all inclusive mode.

Distributed by resorts, most all inclusive units are currently found in Jupiter (9 hotels), followed by Mamaia and Neptun-Olimp with 7 hotels each. There are 3 all-inclusive hotels in Mamaia Nord, Eforie Nord and Venus. In Eforie Sud and Saturn, there are 2 all-inclusive hotels each, and in Costinești and Mangalia – 1 hotel each.

Regarding the degree of classification, most accommodation units that offer all inclusive services, namely 19 hotels, are 4 stars. A number of 16 3-star hotels accommodate all-inclusive tourists. Only one 2-star hotel is all inclusive and two 5-star structures.

Out of the total of 38 hotels, one 4-star accommodation unit in the Saturn resort offers ultra all inclusive services, which means, in addition to the classic all inclusive system, a more diversified offer of drinks, more snacks between meals in an interval longer hours, late breakfast, live cooking.

“Beginning with the 2000s, the first hotels offering all-inclusive services appeared on the Romanian coast, and this product has developed more and more from one year to the next as a result of the high demand from tourists. Basically, we find that at the moment the most requested hotels and whose places are sold out first are those that offer all inclusive services. Precisely from this point of view, I am convinced that there is still room for growth in the market and that we will witness the transformation of other units into all-inclusive hotels”says Ionuț Nedea, CEO of Litoralulromanesc.ro.
