Adrian Minune recently made revelations about the stomach reduction surgery he did in 2024. The artist has managed to lose over 10 kilograms since then.
The singer made the decision to lose weight to improve his health and managed to go from 70 kilograms to 57. He revealed that at the time he was afraid that his voice would be affected by the procedure.
“I went to have an operation because I was very fat and the professor told me, he showed me on my back, on my stomach, to see how much fat was on my lung and liver. I asked him if my voice changed after the operation and he told me that it was possible. I was over 70 kilograms and now I have reached 57. In two years I have lost a lot of weight and my voice has also changed”he explained to Cancan.ro.
He also admitted that the hardest part came only after the intervention, when, during an endoscopy, Adrian Minune encountered serious problems, the doctors having to save his life.
“They did an endoscopy and at one point they took me to therapy. I could hear the doctors yelling at me: ‘Wake up, wake up!’ scared then, but when I realized how bad it was, my voice changed, because I’m not tired anymore. My lung capacity has changed and I can sing differently now.”the singer also said.
On the website of the Ponderas hospital where Adrian Minune was operated on, such gastric sleeve surgery started at 3,900 euros, according to Click!.ro
