Brad Pitt (61 years old) and Angelina Jolie (49 years old), who separated about eight years ago, reached a divorce settlement after a long legal battle.

A ruling in this case will be given in a few weeks. The information was provided by Angelina Jolie’s lawyer.
There was no immediate comment from Brad Pitt’s lawyer when contacted for comment, the Associated Press reports, cited by the BBC.
The two married in 2014 and have six children. Angelia Jolie filed for divorce in 2016, citing “irreconcilable differences.” A bitter child custody battle ensued in the months following the split announcement.
The actress requested a divorce “for the good of the family”, also requesting custody of the six children, three adopted – Maddox, Pax and Zahara – and three biological – Shiloh and twins Vivienne and Knox.
In 2021, a judge awarded joint custody of the children to both parents.
Angelina and Brad met on the set of the 2005 film Mr and Mrs Smith.
Brad Pitt was previously married to Friends star Jennifer Aniston, while for Angelina Jolie it was her third marriage, after relationships with actors Billy Bob Thornton and Jonny Lee Miller.
