In a year in which Untold
marks an anniversary edition, Untold X.the creators of the festival prepare a special moment: the anniversary show of the altar bandone of the most respected troops Metal has FROM Romania.
In an ever-changing musical landscape, few troops manage to cross three decades of activity without compromises. ALTAR It is one of them, and the 35 years of career will be celebrated, for the first time, on the main stage of one of the largest festivals in the world.
Founded in 1991at Cluj-Napoca, altar It quickly became a distinct voice in Romanian music, in a period when the rock scene redefined in post-revolutionary effervescence. With an incisive and powerful style, influenced by heavy metal, alternative and hardcore, the band was imposed by scenic energy and direct social messages. It was one of the first bands in Romania that became a symbol of cultural resistance and authentic underground spirit.
In the 35 years of age, ALTAR He has held hundreds of concerts in the country and abroad, participated in important festivals, launched discographic materials appreciated by the public and influenced generations of musicians.
It is for the first time the band climbs on stage Untoldand choosing the anniversary moment for this premiere is not accidental. It is a sign of respect from the festival towards the local scene and to the artists who built the musical identity of the city – long before the festivals become a global phenomenon.

Over the three decades, ALTAR
has released albums like The Last Warning, Respect, Mantra, Poison or Romanian rhapsodymaterials that wrote a distinct page in the history of Romanian rock, without compromises.
Untold has been, since the first edition, a festival that brought together different styles, generations and worlds. The presence of the altar band in the lineup of the X edition sends a strong message: The musical diversity does not exclude the roots, honors them.
The Untold festival has reached the tenth edition to be held between August 7 and 10 in Cluj-Napoca. This year’s lineup brings together some of the biggest names of international music: Post Malone, Metro Boomin, Becky Hill, Martin Garrix, Armin Van Buuren, Tiësto, Alan Walker, Fisher, Black Coffee, Anyma, Hugel, Alok, Adriatique, Dom Dolla, Artbat, but also Romanian artists: Irina, Irina, Delia, Delia Customs.
