Dinamo achieved a great victory against the German team Fuchse Berlin, score 38-31 (18-19), on Thursday evening, in the Multipurpose Hall in the capital, in Group A of the Men’s Handball Champions League.
The first half was a balanced one, with neither team having a lead greater than one goal. At the break, the visitors had one more goal on the table, 19-18. Dinamo dominated the second half, which it started with three consecutive goals. The team coached by David Davis broke away at the end, from 31-30, achieving a dream performance, in which they scored 7 times and conceded only one goal.

Haniel Vinicius Inoue Langaro and Yoav Lumbroso each scored 5 goals for Dinamo, Branko Vujovic 3, Frederik Ladefoged Blazejewicz 3, Stanislav Kasparek 3, Miklos Rosta 3, Ante Kuduz 3, Andrii Akimenko 3, Ali Zein 3, Nicuşor Negru 2, Haukur Thrastarson 2, Alex Pascual Garcia 2, Darko Djukic 1. Ionuţ Iancu finished with 10 interventions (35.71%), and Vladimir Cupara had 2 (13.33%).
Dinamo’s next match, also against Fuchse
Dinamo will play the next match on November 21, in Berlin, the rematch with last season’s finalist in the EHF European League and also the vice-champion of Germany. With 10 points from 7 games, at the end of the round of the group phase, the “dulais” are in 3rd place in the ranking and are almost certain of qualifying for the playoff (eighties) of the competition. With a strong return, Dinamo could finish in one of the first two positions, which ensures direct qualification to the quarter-finals.
In the matches played on Wednesday, Paris Saint-Germain Handball defeated Sporting Lisbon 30-28, and Orlen Wisla Plock lost at home to Veszprem HC, score 24-27. In another match played on Thursday, Eurofarm Pelister Bitola beat the Danish team Fredericia Handbold Klub 25-23, away.
