Argentinian striker Lautaro Martinez, an important player of Inter Milan, wanted to talk about the special relationship he has with the Romanian coach of Inter Milan, Cristi Chivu (45 years old).
After bringing victory with Pisa through his double (2-0), the 28-year-old Argentinian star surprised with his public message, in which he praised the Romanian technician for the way he influenced his developments in recent seasons.
According to Martinez (163 goals scored for Inter), the connection between him and Chivu goes beyond the professional framework. Inter’s captain emphasized that the Romanian helped him mature as a player, but also as a leader in the dressing room.
“We talk to the coach every day, he hugs us every day, too much! He hugs me more than my wife does (no laughs). But it’s his way of coaching, he understands how a locker room works. I am happy for him and because he started this adventure with us“, said Lautaro Martinez, according to the Italian press.
