“Everyone who is against the system are censored. Their accounts are closed. The posts disappear. Everyone who says was a coup cancellation or are Fani Călin Georgescu or support the candidate of the sovereign movement, George Simion, are silenced. No longer theory.”, Writes the leader I can on Facebook.

Therefore, Anamaria Gavrilă launches several questions to the two platforms, one of them if they were pressed by the Romanian authorities to delete posts or to close accounts.

“We ask them directly:

  • Do you collaborate with the secret services in Romania?
  • Are you asked to close accounts or delete posts with a particular political message?
  • Do you have secret protocols or political pressures?
  • Have you been given lists of users who need to be “monitored”?

We want answers. Freedom of expression is not negotiable. We do not want to find yourself in the same shame as Mark Zuckerberg, when he acknowledged that he had censored content at the request of the US authorities. When the political leadership in Romania will change, everything will come to light ”, this ends.

Recently, the Central Electoral Bureau (BEC) intervened in the election campaign for the presidential elections of the candidates Victor Ponta, Nicușor Dan and George Simion taking measures against false accounts and electoral materials that do not comply with the rules.

BEC has eliminated no less than 40 false accounts associated with gold, as well as other false accounts related to Nicușor Dan.

In the case of Victor Ponta, two electoral clips were deleted, and the Permanent Electoral Authority (AEP) was notified for applying a fine.

George Simion, the golden leader, also faces a possible sanction from the AEP.
