Anca Todoni qualified in the semifinals of the WTA 125 tournament in Bari, equipped with total prizes of 100,000 euros, yesterday evening, after defeating Belarus Irina Șimanovici by 6-4, 6-0.

Todoni (20 years, 88 WTA) imposed after an hour and 18 minutes, at his first confrontation with Șimanovici (27 years, 164 WTA). The Romanian provided a check of 5,044 euros and 49 WTA points. In the penultimate act, Todoni will face tonight, from 8.30 pm, on Spanish Nuria Parizas Diaz (33 years, 114 WTA), which he defeated last year, in the last round of qualifications at Wimbledon, 6-2, 6-4.

This year, Anca Todoni won the victory at the Antalya tournament, of the same category, and at the end of last season was imposed on Santa Cruz. The third trophy of the 20 -year -old player was obtained in Bari last year.
