Anca Todoni’s race in Brisbane stopped in front of the Czech Linda Noskova

Anca Todoni, 20 years old and ranked 118th in the WTA, today admitted herself defeated by the Czech Linda Noskova, 20 years old and ranked 26th in the WTA.

Linda Noskova prevailed with the score of 6-1, 6-4. The 12th seed did not allow the Romanian to get a single break point, while she succeeded in 3 of the 6 she had.

Noskova was free in the first round, while Todoni passed Cristina Bucsa, but she also had to fight in the qualifications, where she scored two victories.

Todoni remains with $12,300 and 32 WTA points, which moves her to 108th place in the world ranking.

Todoni will start at the Australian Open, the first Grand Slam tournament of the year, from January 12-26, in Melbourne.
