On November 1st, AQUA Carpathia presented the film’s gala premiere Yellow tieat the Palatului Hall in Bucharest, in the presence of the actors John Malkovich and Sean Beanof the director Serge Ioan Celebidachi and the team. The event brought together over 4000 spectators, in a memorable evening and also enjoyed the presence of the visionary director Tim Burtonspecial guest of the gala.
The film presents the impressive story of a man driven by passion, courage and above all by the thirst for perfection. His journey Sergiu Celibidacheof a man who refused any compromise, begins from his childhood lived under an authoritarian father in interwar Romania and continues to the years of hunger and struggle for survival in war-torn Germany. A film about the courage to believe in what seems impossible and the price paid to remain steadfast in a world of compromise.

The film covers over seven decades of conductor Sergiu Celibidache’s life and is a production with exclusively Romanian financing, made by a team of over 300 professionals. Made over more than seven years of documentation, preparation, filming and post-production, Yellow tie is one of the largest Romanian cinematographic productions, a film about genius, sacrifice and the power of a dream. Filmed entirely in Romania, supported by five national orchestras that recreated the historic concerts of the great conductor, the film Yellow tie sublime in itself the heritage and essence of Romanian talent.
