Argentina’s national football team revealed on Wednesday, November 5, the new equipment it will wear at the 2026 World Cup, which will be held in the United States, Canada and Mexico, according to EFE.

The Argentine Football Association (AFA) released the kit on social media, accompanied by the slogan: “Argentina’s national team has a new face“.
“The best player in the world wearing the new shirt, the most beautiful of all“, sent the official Instagram account of the Albiceleste team, along with a montage with captain Lionel Messi wearing the new equipment.
The debut in the new equipment
The new shirt will make its debut on Friday, November 14, in the friendly match against Angola, scheduled in the city of Luanda. Fans will be able to purchase it from Thursday, from the Adidas digital store, the brand that has dressed Argentina for over two decades.
“The Argentina national team home kit features the traditional vertical stripes in three shades of light blue, inspired by the 1978, 1986 and 2022 World Cup winning shirts“, stated AFA.

What the new equipment looks like
The release also mentions the fact that on the back of the shirt, at the level of the neck, appears the emblem ‘1893’, the year in which the Argentine Football Association was founded.
In addition to the different shades of light blue on the chest, the new kit also adds dark blue to the neck, shoulders and end of the sleeves for a touch of elegance and modernity.
Argentina, commanding leaders in the South American qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, will meet in Spain in the coming days before traveling to Luanda for the last official match of 2025.
