The results of the 2024 Baccalaureate exam simulation for 12th grade students were announced by the Ministry of Education. Almost 40% of the 12th grade students scored below 5 in Romanian language, and 35% did not score above 5 in mathematics or history.

The Ministry announces that “the results are still transmitted from the school inspectorates to each educational unit in the form of catalogs with final marks”.
“The report cards associated with each evaluation, corresponding to the 33 types of subjects, will be sent by the Ministry of Education to the school inspectorates by Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at the latest, and will be sent by the inspectorates to each educational unit by March 20 at the latest 2024”, the institution transmits in the press release, quoted by edupedu.ro.

The simulation for Baccalaureate 2024 took place between March 4-7.
Almost 40% of the 12th grade students did not get a grade 5 in the Romanian language, and in mathematics or history, 35% did not get more than a 5, according to the statement sent by the Ministry on Friday afternoon.
In total, there were 22 marks of 10 in the country in the simulation of the BAC 2024 exam and 663 marks of 10 in the compulsory test of the mathematics or history profile, the Ministry of Education also reports.
In the Romanian language test, most grades, almost 40%, were below 5. Another 22% of the students got grades between 5 and 6 in this test.
To pass the exam, a grade of at least 5 is required, but the exam is passed if the average is above 6.
In mathematics or history, the mandatory profile test, most students – almost 36% got below grade 5. Between 5 and 6, 13% of 12th grade students took it.
