Nearly 3,000 candidates who registered to support the Baccalaureate 2025 evidence – the August session were absent on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, from the second sample, the compulsory profile. The presence rate at the compulsory proof of the profile within the national baccalaureate exam, the second session, held today, August 12, was 84.2%. There were 15,780 candidates out of a total of 18,745 registered candidates (all promotions). Of these, 24 were eliminated for fraud or fraud.
It should be mentioned that at this session the number of candidates present at each sample differs, a good part of those enrolled only supporting the samples/samples they did not promote in previous sessions or for which they can get a higher note so as to help them register at least 6 to pass the exam.

Most candidates who have to support mandatory test are graduates of technological high schools. The topic they had to solve did not have a special degree of difficulty, but they could pose problems to those students at the limit, who strictly targeted the note 5. “With this variant, 9, it was harder to take 10, but also 5”, noted the mathematics teacher Titu Vîrban, who accepted to solve the subject. On Wednesday, August 13, 2025, the exam continues with the test of the profile and specialization choice – ED test). The support of the tests will end on Thursday, August 14, 2025, with the test in Romanian language and literature – EB test).
The first results will be displayed on August 18, until 12:00 (on the Baccalaureat.edu.ro website and in the examination centers). The visualization of the written works and the submission of possible appeals takes place on the same day (between 14:00 and 18:00), respectively between August 19 and 20, 2025.
“The appeals can be submitted in both standard and electronic format. In this regard, the candidates complement, sign and submit/transmit electronically including a standard statement, through which they express the informed agreement regarding the fact that the note given as a result of the resolution of the appeal is final and may modify, as the case may be (by growing or decreasing), the initial note ”, specifies MEC.
The final results will be published on Tuesday, August 26.
