BAC 2025. Increases the number of absentees to the compulsory sample. What does participation rate look like

The Ministry of Education and Research has reported several absentees to the second written test of the 2025 Baccalaureate, the mandatory profile. The candidates had to support the test in mathematics/history, and the subjects, considered the graduates, but also the teachers, were not difficult.

The rate of participation in the second written test during the National Baccalaureate exam – June 2025 (compulsory profile test) – was 98% (98,722 candidates present out of a total of 100,728 registered candidates – all promotions – to support this test).

No 1,983 candidates were presented, and 25 candidates were eliminated for fraud or attempted fraud ”MEC representatives specify. The number of absentees is even higher than in the first evidence, the one in Romanian language and literature.

Candidates will have a break day on Thursday, June 12, and the exam will continue, on Friday, June 13, with the test of profile and specialization. The last written test of the exam in the June 2025 session is held on Monday, June 16, being the written test in the maternal language and literature.

Candidates may request the visualization of the work/works, in accordance with the provisions of the procedure established by the National Baccalaureate Commission. To the same extent, the visualization of the works does not oblige the candidate to submit the appeal. The initial results are published on June 20, and final results will be displayed on June 30 (in the examination centers and online, including on the websites of the school inspectorates).
