Baccalaureate 2024 results, autumn session. The success rate increased by 3% after appeals were resolved

The final results (after resolving the appeals), obtained by the candidates who took the national baccalaureate exam in the August 2024 session, were published today, August 30, at 10:00 a.m., on the dedicated web page and in the exam centers.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Education, the current session of the exam was passed by 9,052 candidates (846 more, compared to the first display), so the exam success rate for all promotions increased by 3% after the resolution of appeals – 32.3% (compared to 29.3%, the initial rate).

This 3% increase is reflected both in the results of the current promotion and in the results of previous promotions: 6,424 candidates graduated from high school this year (success rate 34.2%, compared to 31.2%, initially), in while 2,628 candidates come from previous promotions (success rate 28.5%, compared to 25.4%, initially).

13,005 appeals were submitted, broken down as follows: sample E)a) – 4,352, sample E)b) – 147, sample E)c) – 3,865 and sample E)d) – 4,641. For 4,196 papers on test E)a), 140 papers on test E)b), 3,588 papers on test E)c), respectively 4,353 papers on test E)d), the grades were changed (by increasing/ decrease).

The results were displayed by anonymizing the personal data of the candidates, in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The minimum pass mark for each written test is 5 (five), and the final average required to pass the exam is at least 6 (six). The pass rate is calculated from the total number of candidates present, including in this category also eliminated candidates.
