Adrian Cristea, known to the public as Bursucu, announced, after 10 years of collaboration with Kanal D, that he is leaving the television station. Cristea announced her decision in a post on social media.

“Dear ones, after 10 incredible years at Kanal D, my story here has come to an end. There were years full of laughter, emotions, challenges, spectacular shows and wonderful people who were by my side. I felt like part of a big crazy family, and for that I will always be grateful. But you know how life is – sometimes you have to close a chapter… to open a new one! So thank you from the bottom of my heart to you, the viewers, for laughing, crying and always being with me. The story continues… only on other stages, other formats, other emotions, ready for a new adventure and ready to put on a show wherever I go”was the message sent by the TV presenter.
The television station thanked him for his collaboration and wished him success in everything he set out to do.
Bursucu was expected again on the screen by the fans of the show “Roata Norocului”, at the beginning of a new season. According to Libertatea, Adrian Cristea’s contract with the TV station expired at the end of 2024, and the presenter decided not to renew it.
The page “Viperele Vesele” reported that Adrian Cristea would have been dissatisfied with the salary differences and the opportunities offered to his colleagues, especially Dan Negru. Bursucu would have complained to those close to him that, although he was older at Kanal D, he did not receive as much attention or important projects. Cristea would have even said that Wheel of Fortune will no longer exist on TV without him.
Asked by fans if the reason for his departure from Kanal D is Dan Negru, the presenter replied: “God forbid! Dan is my friend”.
