The multiple European table tennis champion explained to Orangesport.ro why she chose to be in this situation. “I don’t have a boyfriend. I will spend New Year’s Eve with some friends abroad, I will also have a few days off, because in recent years I haven’t had a day off and now I think I deserve four, five days to rest, to go to the warmth. Christmas will be with my family, because I didn’t stay with them this year.
I am courted, of course, but at the moment I have not thought about a relationship, because I love what I do too much. My life is sport and until I come across someone who understands that in the foreground is table tennis for me… I was never forced to do this, I always played sports from the heart and I loved this sport, that it would be otherwise very hard”, A revealed Bernadette Szocs.

“My bed is on the plane, but I love what I do and I wouldn’t give it up for anything or anyone. I want to continue for many years, I want to play another 10 years of performance. After seeing the young children from Steaua in the gym, I realized that I have a passion for sitting in the gym to explain to them and to offer them my time.
Maybe I’d like to be a personal trainer, I don’t know if I’d like to travel that much anymore, because I’ve done that all my life. I don’t know if I could be a team coach, but never say never, that you don’t know what life has in store for you”added Bernadette Szocs.
He donates his clothes after wearing them a few times
Berni says she takes care of her image and admits she doesn’t wear the same outfit more than once. “All the clothes I have wear once, maximum twice in my life, then I donate them, give them to my friends or send them to the orphanage, every time clothes that look unworn. I would make a bag, take them home to my parents and they would take them.
Yes, lately I invest more, because I take care of my image and, every time, I try something new, I like to be creative. You won’t see me with the same thing three times, twice it might happen, but maybe at different events”said Bernadette Szocs, for Orangesport.ro.
It will become even stronger
The 29-year-old athlete plans to play at a high level for another 10 years and feels that she is on the right track: “This year I learned things that made me stronger and there will be even better years. Apart from the Olympic Games, everything worked out for me, almost everything came true“.
Berni Szocs is in 14th place in the world ranking, ahead of her are only female athletes from the Asian continent.
