The coach of the FC Botoşani team, Bogdan Andone, was sanctioned on Wednesday by the Disciplinary Commission of the Romanian Football Federation with a 4-stage suspension and a financial penalty of 6,000 lei.

“Elimination Bogdan Andone (FC Botoşani) – Pursuant to art. 67 of the RD, the coach Andone Bogdan is sanctioned with suspension for two games and a sports penalty of 2,900 lei. Pursuant to art. 65.a of the RD, the coach Andone Bogdan is sanctioned with suspension for four games and sports penalty of 6,000 lei”it is stated in the commission’s solution published on the official website of the Professional Football League, writes Agerpres.
In accordance with the provisions of the Disciplinary Regulation, coach Bogdan Andone will execute the sanction for the most serious offense provided for by art. 65.a of the RD, respectively suspension for four games and sports penalty of 6,000 lei.
In the FC Botoşani – Oţelul Galati match, which ended with a score of 2-3, from the first stage of the Super League, coach Bogdan Andone was eliminated by referee Cristian Moldoveanu.
He received the red card and was sent to the stands in the 84th minute for insults and vehement protests to the center.
