1.4% of respondents express their preference for an independent (compared to 1.5% in May 2025), and 0.5% for another party (compared to 1.3% in May 2025).
“The PNL becomes the second party in Romania with a score of 17%, and the PSD continues to lose points, reaching the third place, very close to the USR, with a score of about 13%. Gold and PSD are at the maximum score, respectively the historical minimum, since the surveys conducted by Inscop Research”said Remus Stefureac, director of Inscop Research.
“The political polarization resulting from the elections is amplified. At this moment, from the point of view of the voting intention, the 4 parties in power (PNL, PSD, USR and UDMR) accumulate 49% of the voting intention of those who choose a party, while the parliamentary opposition representing the gold, can and the SOS Romania cumulates 46% of the intention. reaching for the first time a score of 40%, against the background of a period tense by the prolonged negotiations for the formation of the new government and the difficult social perspective of the restrictive government measures. ”
Barometer Informa.ro-Inscop Research is a monthly opinion poll conducted by Inscop Research at the command of the informa.ro news platform in partnership with Think-Strategic Thinking Group.
The data were collected between June 20-26, 2025. The research method: interview through the questionnaire. The data were collected by the CATI method (telephone interviews), the volume of the simple sample, stratified by 1150 persons, representative on the significant socio-demographic categories (sex, age, occupation) for the non-institutionalized population, aged 18 years and over. The maximum admitted error of the data is ± 2.9%, to a degree of 95%.
