The Local Political Bureau of PNL Craiova decided, on Saturday, to propose the exclusion from the party of three members – Marian Vasile, Cosmin Corâţu and Mădălin Voicinovschi, who also have the capacity of local councilors.

“The decision was taken as a result of their violation of the provisions of article 25, letters d, e, g and i, as well as article 26, paragraph 2 of the statute of the National Liberal Party. The three, as members of the Local Political Bureau of PNL Craiova, repeatedly refused to participate in the party's activities to which they were summoned by the governing bodies to which they are subordinate or of which they are a part, thus violating the provisions of article 25, the letter is from the PNL statute“, shows a press release of PNL Craiova, assumed by the president Nicolae Giugea.
Also, although the leadership of PNL Craiova decided that the budget for the year 2024 of the municipality of Craiova “in the form presented by Craiova City Hall does not represent liberal values and ideas and does not respect the wishes and interests of the citizens who voted for PNL and that all PNL councilors will submit amendments that the citizens requested and which were then discussed within the party, the three councilors did not comply with this decision, which means violating the provisions of article 26, paragraph 2, letter b“.
As a result, in accordance with the provisions of article 26, paragraph 1, letter h of the PNL statute, the Local Political Bureau voted on the proposal to exclude Marian Vasile, Cosmin Corâţu and Mădălin Voicinovschi from the party.
The decision, sent for validation to the county
According to the statute, the proposal of the Local Political Bureau of PNL Craiova was forwarded to the County Political Bureau, which is to issue a decision within 30 days at most, according to article 27 of the party's statute.
