Britney Spears shared online a photo in which she appears in a wedding dress, accompanied by a text with the announcement that she married herself and a comment related to the decision taken.
The American pop star stated on her Instagram account that although some people might think that marrying herself “may seem embarrassing or stupid”she is convinced that this is “the most brilliant thing I have done”, reports the EFE agency, quoted by Agerpres, on Tuesday.
The 42-year-old artist, who asserted herself through hits such as “Baby One More Time”shared this message alongside a video of herself in a white satin dress with a lace veil to the tune of the song “Fields of Gold” Sting’s.

After breaking up with Sam Asghari, in May of this year, the singer would not have had another relationship, the local press notes.
The actor filed for divorce in August 2023, a little over a year after the marriage, in June 2022.
Britney Spears was previously married to Jason Alexander and Kevin Federline, with whom she has two sons, Sean Preston Federline, 19, and Jayden James Federline, 18, according to the E!News portal.
