“The Woman in Me”

Autobiography “The Woman in Me” allowed the American singer to reclaim her history, once freed from the guardianship that regulated every aspect of her life for 13 years.

In that book, the star recounts the court battle with her own family and has not hidden any details: from her childhood spent in poverty in the shadow of an alcoholic father, to her love affair with Justin Timberlake and to her harassment by the paparazzi.

She revealed that Justin Timberlake pressured her to have an abortion during their relationship.

After the decline in 2007, the American singer was placed under the guardianship of her father, Jamie Spears, who controlled her money and private life, even though the pop star held a series of concerts in Las Vegas.
