Cătălin Chirilă, a new medal for Romania at the European Kaiac-Canoe Championships

After the gold obtained yesterday at the simple 1000m, Cătălin Chirilă today won the bronze in the simple 500 m final, at the European Kaiac-Canoe championships (Czech).

Our athlete, victorious in front of his great rival in the Olympic test, Martin Fuksa, was seen this morning forced to bow to the Czech. The Champion at the Jo in Paris dominated the race from one end to the other and won a new European title, with a time of 1: 47,733.

The Moldovan Sergei Tarnovschi, who had left the third position yesterday, fired in the final of today from 500 meters and overtaken at the Finiş photo on Cătălin Chirilă, with only 33 thousands, according to news.ro.
