According to the USR candidate, his political program and that of the opposing candidate have common points:
“I respect everyone’s right to run. In fact, from Ana Ciceală’s program, a lot of things can be found in our program. We have a chapter in our program about affordable housing, which for me is very important, young people must be able to afford an apartment in this city, and we have a series of very concrete measures, starting with a reorganization of the Real Estate Fund Administration, which has thousands of apartments in the city, which at the moment are given to the public on non-transparent criteria party, many. It is true, there are also social cases and where there are social cases, they remain, but we want to reorganize (…)“.
Cătălin Drula proposes to Ana Ciceăla to work together: “Other policies, on the alternative public transport area, on the green area, all of these are common in the program that Ana Ciceală also has. I would like to work together in the City Hall and if you want to deal with this area, with young people, with social affairs, it would be a partnership. The rest of the discussions are from the private area”.
The USR candidate was asked by RFI if the proposed partnership would mean that he would like Ana Ciceăla to withdraw from the race for the Capital City Hall.
“I can’t afford to ask this of anyone, but I’d love to have a partnership and it’s an outstretched hand”replied Cătălin Drula.
Ana Ciceală’s candidacy is supported by the SENS Party (Party for “Health, Education, Nature, Sustainability)” and USR.PDF (Union for State Reform).
Remus Ștefureac, about Ana Ciceăla: “At least on a certain type of audience, she will get a good score”
We remind you that sociologist Remus Ștefureac explained, for “Adevărul” that the party represented by Ana Ciceăla “has good traction, at least among 18-29 year olds. Overall, at the national level, we have and published last week the voting intention for SENS at the national level among the 18-29 year old audience is about 16%. Of course, in the big cities, in principle, it’s even bigger, because that’s where the electoral core of this party is.”
“We can know at this moment, but for sure, at least on a certain type of audience, it will get a good score. SENS had good results, for example, in last year’s parliamentary elections. In Bucharest they got a score of 5%. Therefore, it already had an important pool. It would be a failure if it didn’t get 5%. Any score above this percentage is a performance.” the sociologist detailed.
