CFR Cluj is the new leader of the football Superleague, after defeating Craiova University with a score of 2-0 (1-0), on Sunday evening, away, in a match of the 18th stage.

The guests opened the scoring through Matei Ilie (5), following a corner, and the Kosovar Meriton Korenica (87) sealed the victory for Cluj, at the end of a counterattack.
CFR thus got its revenge after the round match, won 2-0 by the University and remains undefeated away from home in this championship. Instead, the University, which was undefeated at home until this match, suffered its first defeat at the Ion Olbemenco stadium.
After a real tour de force, in which CFR Cluj achieved four wins and four draws, Dan Petrescu’s team managed not only to catch the rival from Cluj, but even to surpass it, at least until Monday’s game against the University those from UTA Arad.
